Three Service Tiers for Mechanical Watch Owners
Each tier is defined by a fixed scope, transparent pricing and a written outcome issued with every completed watch.
Back to HomeHow Every Job Runs
Intake & Condition Survey
The watch is examined on intake, photographed and assigned an intake reference. Timing machine data is recorded before disassembly.
Scope Document Issued
A written scope covering exactly what will be done and at what price is sent to the owner before any work begins. No changes occur without a new sign-off.
Bench Work
The agreed work is carried out. For restoration, stage completion is communicated before the next stage is started. Parts are retained throughout.
Completion & Record
Final timing data is recorded. A condition report is issued with the watch. For retainer clients, the record is added to the running file for that piece.

Vintage Restoration Programme
RM 2,850A staged programme for watches from the 1940s onward, beginning with a photographic condition survey and an agreed scope before any work starts. Covers case refinishing that respects original lines, crystal replacement, hand and dial refurbishment coordinated with a specialist workshop, and sourcing of period-correct components through established supply channels. Owners approve each stage in writing before it proceeds. Scope typically runs four to eight weeks depending on parts availability, and every replaced component is returned with the finished watch.
Full documentation of the watch as received — case, dial, hands, crystal, crown and caseback. Provides the before-record.
Written scope issued for owner review and sign-off. No work proceeds without approval. Parts availability estimated at this stage.
Full mechanical service of the movement as described in Service 01, adapted for vintage tolerances.
Case refinishing where agreed, crystal and hand/dial work via specialist facilities. Owner approved at each stage.
Reassembly, regulation and pressure test. All replaced components packaged and returned with the finished watch.

Includes two scheduled timing checks per watch, water-resistance verification, bracelet and strap inspection, battery renewal on quartz pieces, and storage advice for humidity conditions common in Malaysia. Collection and return within the Klang Valley is arranged at each visit. Owners receive a maintained record for each piece, listing service history, movement notes and recommended next intervals.

Technical Standards Across All Services
Ultrasonic Cleaning
All movement components pass through an ultrasonic bath with appropriate cleaning solution before inspection.
Timing Machine Measurement
Rate and amplitude measured before and after service using a timing machine. Results recorded in the condition report.
Manufacturer Lubrication Intervals
Lubricants applied to manufacturer published specifications per calibre type where available, not generic workshop standards.
Watch Handling Protocols
Watches are handled in dust-controlled conditions with appropriate covering during storage at the workshop.
Written Documentation
Scope, completion report and service records are provided in writing for every job — not verbal summaries.
Client Data Privacy
Owner and watch records are held securely and are not shared outside the workshop. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Service Pricing (MYR)
Prices listed are for the defined scope. Any deviation from scope is discussed and agreed before it affects the price.
